Reconstruction and renovation of the Frankfurt sales office in Dietzenbach
Our aim is to ensure that our clients are happy with their buildings. This then means satisfaction on both sides. If this results in a further project for the same client, then we are even more delighted. This happened with the Rehau company: After we had already rejuvenated the visitor center in Erlangen for the international company, we were then appointed to carry out the reconstruction and renovation of the Frankfurt sales office in Dietzenbach.

The two storey linear-rectangular, functional building, dating from the 1970s, was completely gutted - leaving only the load-bearing components. Both the ground floor and the two office floors were newly structured. Here, the requirements of modern workplaces, as well as the need for the employees to communicate and cooperate with each other, were taken into account. In the floor-plan design, the floors were treated as 400 m² units for fire protection purposes. This permitted the realisation of a new space concept with open and expansive office structures.

Facade
Together with the encircling window strips, a new facade, made of anodised aluminium sheet, accords the building its discernibly linear appearance. As well as exterior sun protection, all windows also have interior textile glare blinds.

Office floors
Team and individual offices with mixed zones and service points have been installed on the two office floors. Thanks to the encircling window band, every workplace has natural light.

Curtains
From the exterior, the soft contours of the grey curtains provide a contrast to the patterned white strips of the aluminium facade, and from the inside, to the white built-in fittings.

Generous layout
A foyer with a lounge was created on the ground floor. A large and bright cafeteria has been conceived as a location for exchanges and communication with employees and clients. There are conference rooms on the front side. The encircling floor-depth glazing emphasises the storey height.

New arrangement of outside space
The drive with a canopy roof and vestibule as well as the parking area were clearly arranged in a modern fashion.
