Architect and general planner
As architects, we carry out all the work stages of building planning according to HOAI (German Fee Scales for Architects and Engineers), and as the general planner, we offer our clients all the necessary services for planning from one source. A specialist team of architects and engineers ensures a holistic and coherent project performance. No matter whether we work for you as the architect or the general planner, from the first concept until the completion of the building measure, we see ourselves as your partner who, with creativity and expertise, always acts in your best interests. From the beginning, we listen carefully and transpose your requirements and wishes into a competent planning.
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is an intelligent multidimensional working tool providing the foundation for creating a data-based building model. Here, three-dimensional planning is carried out on building components which, apart from measurements, volumes, materials types and surfaces also includes information about physical characteristics. This information is augmented by details of costs and deadlines – known as the fourth and fifth dimensions.
Thus the model stores all the information pertaining to the actual building process and the building itself in just one data bank – all available during the planning process. In this way, at a very early stage, costs and measurements can be determined creating realistic simulations of the thermal building physics – enabling a smooth planning and construction procedure.
The architect is also the leader in the planning process using BIM, and at .bieker a BIM Manager is responsible for the consistency of the data model and the smooth integration of expert planning. By working on a virtual building model, it becomes possible, at all times, to carry out building simulations, visualizations, virtual building inspections, mass determinations and process simulations – furthermore, plans can be issued with different contents and scales.
