On behalf of Talanx Immobilien Management GmbH, the .bieker AG planned the tenant improvements in the office building at Neue Mainzer Straße 12-14 in Frankfurt. The building has been rented for a long term to a financial services company. The work was completed in July and the tenant moved in at the end of August 2018.

The .bieker AG was employed as general planner on behalf of Talanx and fulfilled the requirements of the future tenant in the development of the 7,500 m2 of new modern office structures. A special focus here was placed on the technical equipment, which had to be adjusted to the special features of the building, adapting to a changed access situation and the realisation of the design requirements of the tenant. The building is the only remaining structure of the former Degussa site in the Neue Mainzer Straße. After the re-development of the site, the building can now be equally easily accessed from the Schneidwallgasse at the back of the building. The newly designed and extended foyer on the ground floor reflects this changed access situation and brings together the streams of visitors from both streets.

The tenant improvements concentrated on creating a bright, modern, flexible office structure reflecting the corporate design of the new tenant. In total, on 7 floors, 450 – 500 workplaces were created in open-plan team areas and in mixed zones. The office landscape is animated by glazed think-tanks, telephone cabins and function units. Meeting points and tea kitchens are located in the spaces at the cores. The central and light-flooded atrium above the foyer is equipped with seating and sail awnings and thus becomes the meeting point for employees and clients.
